Smoky Mountain Century

2019/05/31

Left early (7am) and took advantage of the amazing spring day after last nights storms. Ended up doing my Smoky Mountain Century. Long day in the saddle but it goes by quickly. I get into a zone on the long up hill sections (23 miles and 20 miles being the two major climbs). To be honest, I could keep going for another hour or two. And I could do it again tomorrow. Paced myself well. Tried to not spike the power up over 300 if I could avoid it. Wanted to be pretty steady in the 220-250 range on the climbs. Indeed up at 220 for the ride.
